Description | Primary Purpose: Coordinates, implements, and evaluates district-level assessments and instruments used to measure student growth. Works cooperatively with district personnel so that a consistently high standard is implemented and maintained in the area of district assessment and student growth measures. Coordinate instructional technology-related products and processes for campuses in the district. Provide support for and facilitate instructional technology initiatives at the administrative level.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification
- Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction or Educational Administration and five years of teaching experience. Teaching certification required. Principal certification preferred.

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
Teacher Incentive Allotment
- Organize, schedule and facilitate all meetings with TIA partners and Corsican ISD staff to develop a local teacher designation system that measures teacher effectiveness based, at a minimum, on both teacher observation and student growth data.
- Monitor and analyze TIA data to identify trends, address issues, and adjust implementation efforts as needed.
- Monitor implementation progress and present as needed to various departments, community groups, campuses, and/or other stakeholders.
- Engage and collaborate with department leads from School Leadership, Teaching & Learning, Evaluation & Assessment, Communications, Information & Technology Services, Employee Relations, Project Management and Compensation to support implementation districtwide.
- Ensure all students have access to an excellent education and prioritize this goal in all decision-making.
- Relentlessly pursue results and be unequivocally driven by goals and student outcomes.
- Work toward measurable outcomes while supporting other through ongoing coaching to ensure goals are attained.

- Organize and oversee the district’s system planning and development process.
- Oversee and facilitate the data capture and validation process which will include a review of the accuracy of how Corsicana ISD designations align to the statewide performance standards.
- Actively collaborate with principals, district coordinators, interventionists, and campus staff in aligning, developing, and implementing all areas of the TIA program.

- Be knowledgeable and apt at creating, evaluating, and communicating critical data points (qualitative and quantitative) impacting all phases of TIA both during development in Corsicana ISD and after implementation.
- Assist in research and grant writing related to the needs of the TIA program in Corsicana ISD
- Must attend training on TIA planning, practices, and methodologies, develop, and host sessions for TIA staff.
Digital Learning
- Support the campus needs in relation to instructional technology
- Implement, train, and support instructional technology applications
- Support teachers by modeling best practices and coaching them through implementation processes
- Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with campus and department personnel to promote the effective use of technology
- Identify problems with district or campus-wide problems in data reporting and essential systems and move to resolve as quickly as possible
- Provide first-line support for district-wide software applications, including student information systems, learning management systems, and administrative tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues, coordinating with vendors when necessary.
- Work with district vendors to establish single sign-on configurations for student and staff applications.
- Work with district vendors to establish connections between district LMS and new applications for seamless sharing of CISD roster and staff data.
- Create helpdesk knowledge base articles for district applications that can b shared with staff and students for learning and troubleshooting purposes.
- Create custom reports using districts student information system to satisfy requirements for third party vendor connections.
Policy, Reports, and Law
- Create board documents, write memos, and support communication of TIA updates districtwide.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations in the TIA application, implementation of activities, submission of reports, and expenditure of any funds.
- Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required, including mandatory financial reports to TEA.
- Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and the local board policy.
